Lost and Replacement Car & Van Keys

We specialise in most makes of Saabs; their immobilisation systems can be very troublesome. Please call Key to My Car to discuss your requirements.

Saab remote/fobs range from £150.00 to £220.00. Please note all Saabs require a working key to program a key via the on board diagnostic socket.

We carry a wide range of stock so can cut and program a spare key to your Saab car whilst you wait. We only use dealer level software so you can be sure that your Saab is in safe hands. Whether you would like a remote/fob, flip or standard key, we can cater to your every need.

Lost SAAB Car Keys

Saab dealers will tell you that you need a new ECU box, locks and ignition barrel. This is not true and we can make a new set of Saab keys for your car whilst rendering the old keys useless.

We can even come out to you and gain access your Saab without damaging anything (non-destructive) and make you a new Saab key at the roadside.

If you do not have a working key – All keys lost – we are able to add a key, but not by conventional methods of using a computer to plug in to the on board diagnostic socket. We remove a module from the vehicle and Add the first working key directly to the module which holds the security data. Once this is added and we re assemble the vehicle, it will start as normal and allow further keys to be added via the on board diagnostics socket

Please call to discuss lost keys as this is a very specialised car.

Note:

Do not buy second-hand Saab car keys from eBay or scrap yards as these keys cannot be programmed into another car or van. Each key has a transponder chip which can only be coded once after which it is locked out. We also will not work with any such materials that we have not supplied.

If you have any doubts call Key to My Car and we will be happy to go over all your options.

(please note all prices are plus VAT)

SAAB – Information

If you are in the unfortunate position of having lost your Saab keys then we are able to help you. All work can be carried out at your home, work or premises. There is no need to obtain keys, codes or have your pride and joy dragged onto the back of a transporter and taken to the main dealers; we take care of it all.

Most people expect it to be expensive when they lose their car keys but they don’t realise it can be around £1000 to have replacement Saab keys from the Saab dealers. Not only will the cost be very high, you will also have to have your vehicle recovered to the dealers and that’s not easy and usually expensive with no keys. You will also have to wait 7 to 10 days for the work to be carried out.

Don’t let the dealers tell you that the CIM or the Twice unit must be replaced costing £700-£1,400 and taking several days, when we can complete this workfor a fraction of that cost.

Saab dealers will usually tell you it is not possible for anybody other than themselves to program keys to Saab vehicles that is not the case. We can program keys to these vehicles and normally next day.

Not local to us? If you can get a competent person to remove the relevant module that we require, you can send it to us, we can programme a key to the module and return it to you ready to fit and start the vehicle.
